Business Challenges
- Client wanted to build from the ground up a new customer service AI Platform for Hotel Operators
- A need to link various pre, during and post stay experiences to high levels of proactive customer service
- An ability to react in minutes to customer requests with a high level of customization and an ability to “learn” as the platform evolves
- Client also wanted to connect this platform to mission critical on property maintenance management to ensure the highest level of property problem resolution
Vision & Approach

- Client’s Business now manages over 100 hotels from smaller private properties to major brands
Pharmacy Tribune is a highly interactive application where Speed and Performance are
mission critical. A social media application such as this one requires lightning fast data
processing and real time streaming data. Therefore, Supra’s Solutions Architecture
team had several rounds of discussions with the client’s team to fully understand their
current needs, workflows, and future pipeline. The outcome of this thorough process
was a fully featured social media application with a robust backend capable autoscaling
to meet demand. Keeping the requirements in mind, Supra decided upon the
MEAN Stack (Angular 7 as a Frontend technology, Node.Js, Express.Js as a Backend
technology, and MongoDB as a database). Socket programming was utilized to
achieve instant data updates without blocking. Continuous Integration, Continuous
Testing and Continuous Delivery was accomplished using various tools like Jenkins,
Gitlab, Jira, Postman & other tools. Since the client was unable to predict initial traffic
load on the site, Supra’s Solutions team decided to use Cloud hosting based on a linux
platform. This allowed us to scale the server size based on site traffic- allowing us to
maintain superior application performance and customer experience. The application
also efficiently handles application and data security using various security and threat
detection techniques, and transmitting data only encrypted channel using HTTPS
protocol.
